"What Is Going on in Your Mind" (thoughts)

Every person has the ability to think on just about everything and anything; we daydream, we ponder what it would be like to win a million dollars, we think about the perfect man or woman to marry, or we think about the opposite. We all have creative minds and can probably think on amazing and wonderful things, however if someone isn't thinking on 'happy thoughts', then they may not be able to use their mind and talents as God intended.

Avoid thinking on thoughts that lead you to.....

Think about it for a moment, when you are alone are you content with yourself and/or current situation or do you find yourself thinking about past mistakes, issues, or maybe you think too much that you get fidgety?  Is it possible that maybe those thoughts get you down, upset or even depressed?

In that case you may want to avoid thinking on thoughts that lead you to think things that you shouldn't be thinking on. Sounds like a tongue twister doesn't it? It just might, however, I believe the saying to be true. Once you think on something negative, it seems that it leads to other negative thoughts and before you know it, you got in a place in your mind that you never intended to get to!

Look at it this way: you think on something bad, most likely you will begin to feel down and then bad actions to follow. However, if you think on good thoughts, those will bring on good actions. When a bad thought comes (temptations of any kind, past situations, upcoming events, etc.) don't write them down in your mind and keep them with you, instead throw them out.

This is not the power of positive thinking, this is a biblical principle that God wants for each and every one of us.

Good thoughts bring on good actions!
